They donate their time, talent, and money to charities, administer scholarship programs and strive to be helping hands where there is pain, poverty, sorrow, and sickness. Examples of local, state, and national support include giving money to St. Louis for the televised masses, money to Catholic radio, disasters due to heavy rain, Texas Disaster Relief Fund, Texas Habitat for Humanity, West Ministerial Alliance, West Rest Haven, food pantries, local benefits, and money to support parish festivals and first Communion in Tours, Penelope, Abbott, and West.
Regular meetings of the local courts are held the first Tuesday of the month.
We encourage all Catholic women 18 years and older to join the Catholic Daughters of the Americas to share their responsibility. Dues are $25 a year. Come share your ideas on how CDA can more effectively serve our parish and community.
